FAQ
Does Klap™ hold on all hair types?
Yes. KLap™ was designed for fine, thick, straight, curly or textured hair. The flat magnetic system closes firmly around the section without slipping or over-tightening.
Just adjust how much hair you take into the clip: a thinner section for very thick hair, a slightly larger section for fine hair.
Is it comfortable to wear all day?
Klap™ is built to disappear. Its flat shape creates no bump or pressure point at the back of your head: you can lean back, drive, work, work out, or lie down without any discomfort.
Since there's no spring crushing your strands, there's no constant pressure to give you a headache.
Is Klap™ safer than a regular clip in the car?
Yes, that's one of its biggest advantages. Bulky clips create a hard "spike" between your head and the headrest.
In a sudden stop or impact, that hard point can press into your head. Klap™ stays flat against the headrest: no bump sticking out, no heavy metal piece behind your head. You keep your hair up with an accessory that feels far safer on the road.
Does Klap™ damage or break hair?
No — quite the opposite. Kinéa™ has no aggressive teeth and no spring to catch and rip out your strands. It holds through gentle magnetic pressure, with no harsh pulling.
The result: less breakage, fewer strands left in the clip, fewer marks when you take it out — even if you use it every day.
Is Klap™ really sturdy and durable?
Klap™ is not a disposable clip. With no fragile spring, there's nothing to bend, break, or knock loose.
The magnetic system handles repeated opening and closing, drops on the floor, and life in a handbag. As long as you don't force it on purpose, it keeps the same grip and the same shape for a long time.
Are the magnets safe for everyday use?
Klap™'s magnets are small and built into the structure, away from your skin and scalp. They have no impact on your health and don't damage your hair.
You can wear Kinéa™ next to your phone, your credit card, or on a plane with no problem: it's designed for everyday use, like any modern hair accessory.

March 2026Randi G.Verified BuyerI really like these but have struggled a bit with keeping my hair inside the clip. Some hair slides out after a bit of time goes by, but perhaps it is just my technique. I do a half-up do with a deep side part and then twist the sections that I put in the clips. The clip on the side with more hair barely holds all of the hair and the side with less hair is too big to hold all of the hair and fits kind of loose (It would be better with a middle-part, but that just isn't me). If I don't twist the hair, the clips don't really hold the hair that well. I would like to see a version where the clip opens on the magnet side/inside instead of the outside. I think this would solve the "hair sliding out of the clip" issue. These issues aside, these are the best hair accessory I've used for a half-up do and they are really easy and give a very classy look with minimal effort. Overall, I would recommend these and will keep using them! I tried to include a picture, but it is not great. I never realized how difficult it is to take a picture of the back of your own head! :)
